We held "A Party To Help Cure Cancer" on August 8, 2009 and it was a success. We raised over $15,000 dollars. We the Garettfest organizers would like to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the support and the wonderful turn out. We apologize that we ran out of food and we promise you when we have the remission party in 2010 you will be the first ones in the food line. I have attached a link to a photo album of the day. $7500 of the proceeeds raised from Garettfest was donated to the Jodi Lou Lung Cancer Founation. This money will be doubled by the Creating Hope Fundraising Campaign and will be given to the UW Comprehensive Cancer Center specifically for lung cancer research.
